Our tungsten granules are made by breaking forged tungsten parts, instead of coarse or sintered tungsten powder. It has low oxygen content just as other shaped tungsten parts, the purity is higher than regular tungsten powder when oxygen is deemed as impurity.

Process difference:

A.      Regular tungsten powder: WO3 powder—reduced to tungsten powder. W powder with average particle size 1-30μm.

B.      Crystalline tungsten powder: W Powder—sintered to initial block—breaking—sinter tungsten powder, this makes the particle size larger than reduction tungsten powder, it’ll be -100mesh largest.

C.      Tungsten granules: Sintered tungsten block—Repeatedly forging—Machining—Custom parts —Recycling used parts (guarantee no other impurities are introduced during use)—repeatedly breaking to get granules.

Our tungsten granules, also named tungsten flux and tungsten accelerator, are mostly used as tungsten flux when the usage requires a low oxygen content and other gas elements content. Tungsten flux is used as the flux during the combustion process of high-frequency furnaces in the analysis of infrared carbon and sulfur, as well as in the analysis and measurement of carbon and sulfur in metals like iron, steel, alloys, and non-metallic materials.
