Countersunk Magnets - Neodymium Magnets with Mounting Holes
Countersunk magnets (also called round bottom, round cup, cup or RB magnets) are very powerful mounting magnets. They are made of a neodymium magnet encased in a steel cup with a countersunk hole in the working surface to accommodate a standard flat head screw. When fastened to your product, the screw head is flush with or slightly below the surface. Countersunk and countersunk magnets are disc or plate magnets with a tapered hole to accommodate a fastener. Often used to mount the magnet without adhesives.
Key features of neodymium countersunk magnets include:
Magnetic holding force is concentrated on the working surface and is much stronger than a single magnet. There is little or no magnetic force on non-working surfaces.
Made of a neodymium magnet encased in a steel cup, plated with three layers of nickel-copper-nickel (Ni-Cu-Ni) for maximum protection against corrosion and oxidation.
Neodymium cup magnets are a reliable solution for any application that requires high magnetic strength to securely hold a magnet to an object.
Strong Neodymium Magnets
Countersunk magnets are a very popular method of fastening due to their ease of use, clean appearance, and strong performance. These magnets can be easily screwed into place and are used for concealed door and drawer closures as well as signage and displays.
Neodymium countersunk ring magnets are available in a variety of sizes and grades to meet the needs of a variety of applications. We offer round and square, as well as rectangular countersunk magnets, and they are quick and easy to install for optimal fastening. To achieve a flat and smooth surface, use neodymium ring magnets with a single (or double) countersunk hole. Please note that these countersunk ring magnets are marked with magnetic poles on the countersunk face.
Our countersunk neodymium magnets have a countersunk hole that fits perfectly on size 6 and 8 screws. They are used for displays, closures, POP signs, and more. Be careful when handling neodymium magnets as their force may cause them to attract metal or each other, which can be painful on fingers if pinched.
