First off, I’d like to say that when ordering very specialized items internationally, we have nearly always encountered a multitude of problems. Miscommunication, overpromising, delays, substandard final product, etc. In the end, we have to fabricate product ourselves in a multitude of scientific areas. This is to say that it is expected that a variety of speed bumps will arise in the completion of an order.

What was not expected, was the way that you handled the order.

Your verve and professionalism to counter issues and keep us informed was commensurate with some of the best business practices I have been privileged to witness.

Problems encountered are never as important as one’s ability to handle them.

Additionally, being consistently informed of issues and conveying the solutions to those issues are what inherently instills trust.

You and your team have done an exceptional job.

The products were well within a workable tolerance for us to alter further and will perform beautifully and were exceptionally packaged remaining protected all the way to our door.

On closing, we were very impressed by the business acumen of you and your team abroad and will be ordering from you again.

 I also wanted to say back in February/March when I first reached out to your company to get crucibles quoted, I had also reached out to 17 other companies. Of all 18 companies, only 6 got back to me with quotes. Of those 6 quotes, your company's quote was by far the most reasonable. The ordering, (manufacturing,) shipping, and receiving of the product was all done in a timely manner and the product was beyond expectation upon arrival. Due to all of these factors, when I was asked to source out more crucibles, Edgetech Industries LLC was the first company that came to mind and was my first choice.

We are manufacturing a device that utilizes an Ytterbium component and 

we need a continuing source of high quality Ytterbium metal.

We have been purchasing Yb from another supplier.  The Yb from this 

supplier often has many internal inclusions and defects.  When the Yb is 

rolled into sheets, it cracks and blisters around these inclusions. 

Some portions of the ingot are relatively free of defects and the metal 

can be used as intended.  Other portions of the same ingot are so poor 

the metal cannot be used.

We tested your latest Yb ingot, Lot Number 454-181217, shipped 17 

December 2018.

 

The quality of this ingot is excellent.  We are able to roll this 

Ytterbium to 0.0014" thick foil without any issues or problems.  Bright 

and shiny, it looks virtually identical to silver foil, so we are very 

pleased.  Our thanks to your people for an excellent job in correcting 

the problem we experienced earlier.
