Custom neodymium magnets for your project!
Sizes and Shapes: Neodymium magnets come in a variety of sizes and shapes to meet the varying needs of different applications. It’s important to note that the size and shape of the neodymium magnet is chosen based on the intended application, available space, and required magnetic strength.
Grades and Magnetic Strengths: We offer a wide range of grades: N30, N32, N33, N35, N38, N39, N40, N42, N44, N45, N48, N50, N52, N54, which is the highest grade currently available on the market.
Operating Temperature:
Low Temperature Grades (N35 to N45): These magnets have a maximum operating temperature of 80 to 120 degrees Celsius.
Medium Temperature Grades (N48 to N50): Medium temperature neodymium magnets can operate effectively in a temperature range of approximately 120 to 150 degrees Celsius.
High Temperature Grades (N52, N54 and higher): These magnets can withstand temperatures of 150 to 230 degrees Celsius and even higher, depending on the specific grade.
Coatings:
Standard coatings: Zinc and NiCuNi.
Specialty coatings: Epoxy for increased durability, gold and silver for specific applications, plastic and rubber for added protection.
Advanced coating: Teflon has non-stick and heat-resistant properties, and polyparaxylene can be used for conformal and insulating layers.
Advantages of Neodymium Magnets
High magnetic properties: Neodymium Iron Boron (NdFeB) is currently the second highest performing permanent magnet after the absolute zero holmium magnet. It has a high magnetic energy product and high remanence, and can produce a magnetic field similar to many other materials.
Small size and light weight: Due to the high magnetic properties of NdFeB magnetic materials, only a small amount is needed during the application process to produce a magnetic field similar to many other materials, greatly reducing the volume and weight of the product.
Strong stability and high efficiency: NdFeB magnetic materials have excellent anti-magnetic loss properties and can work stably in high temperature environments. The operating temperature limit of ordinary magnetic materials is about 80°C. If this temperature is exceeded, severe demagnetization will occur, affecting product performance. The maximum operating temperature of NdFeB magnetic materials can reach 220°C. Although there is still a gap with SmCo magnets in high temperature resistance, NdFeB magnetic materials are a better choice in terms of production capacity and cost.
High cost performance: Compared with samarium cobalt magnet, another rare earth magnet of equal strength, NdFeB magnet has a higher cost performance and has obvious advantages.
Strong machinability: Neodymium magnets can be machined into shapes for specific purposes, including the production of small batch samples. Even with small size, they can show high magnetic properties.
Wide range of applications: Neodymium magnets are used in almost every industry, making them ubiquitous.
In short, as an excellent permanent magnet material, NdFeB has the characteristics of high magnetism, small size, light weight, strong stability, high cost-effectiveness and good machinability. These qualities make it widely used in various fields.
