Molybdenum Spray Wire
Molybdenum spay wire is used to spray automotive components, like piston ring, synchronizing rings, gear boxes.
Thin layers of molybdenum impart excellent sliding properties and extremely high wear resistance to vehicle and machine parts that are subject to high mechanical loads. Piston rings, synchronizer rings, synchronizer bodies, shift forks and other parts of motor vehicles are protected by molybdenum layers using a flame spraying process.
Edgetech produces its molybdenum spray wire using a powder metallurgy process. This guarantees the high purity of our material and enables our customers to carry out efficient coating processes with particularly uniform and reliable results.
