Molybdenum Foil
Molybdenum foil and molybdenum strip can be used in lighting, vacuum coating, and semi-conductor fields. It’s rolled from sheets and strips, we can provide the thinnest molybdenum foil with 0.01mm thick.
Molybdenum Properties:
-High Melting Point: Molybdenum has a very high melting point of about 2,623°C. This allows molybdenum foil to maintain its structure and properties even at extreme temperatures.
-High Density: Molybdenum is a dense metal with a density of about 10.28 g/cm3. This high density gives molybdenum foil a high quality and stability in many applications.
-Good Thermal Conductivity: Molybdenum has good thermal conductivity, which makes molybdenum foil very effective in certain applications that require heat dissipation. It can transfer and dissipate heat quickly.
-Good Mechanical Properties: Molybdenum foil maintains its mechanical strength and flexibility in film form, making it suitable for applications that require bending or deformation.
-Corrosion Resistance: Molybdenum foils show good resistance to many chemicals, which increases their potential for use in special environments.

Molybdenum Foil Applications
- Commonly used in thin film deposition processes in semiconductor manufacturing to prepare thin film components such as metal oxide semiconductor field effect transistors (MOSFETs).
- Used as a heat sink in many electronic devices to help maintain device performance at high temperatures.
- Used in laboratories for various research and experimental purposes, including optical research, thin film experiments, and other experiments that require high temperatures and high-density materials.
- Applied to the manufacture of vacuum equipment and vacuum accessories to ensure the stability of equipment under high temperature and vacuum conditions.
- Used to prepare thermal barrier coatings for high temperature environments to provide high temperature insulation.
Packaging for our molybdenum foil
The standard package for foil is wooden crate, so that the products can be protected during handling and transportation. We also provide vacuum packing for Moly foil if necessary.
