The tungsten syringe shield is a compact syringe shield with a lead glass window and clip lock. The lead glass is completely encapsulated in the tungsten material. Therefore, there is no possibility of radiation leakage. The shield interior is white and clearly visible.

Tungsten Syringe Shield, also called injection shield, is designed to reduce hand exposure to radioactive injection for medical use. With great ability of radiation shielding, the barrel of the tungsten syringe shield could be 0.06"-0.08". Tungsten Syringe Shield could reduce radiation exposure from Tc-99m by more than 99%.
