Titanium ribbon (conductor bar) is widely used in chemical industry such as chlor-alkali industry where titanium anode is used for cathodic protection. Most of the strips we offer are grade 1 and grade 2 C.P. titanium.

Titanium conductor bar is suitable for cathodic protection (CP) in above ground tank bottom and concrete structure. It has strong corrosion resistance in various environments such as soil, fresh water, brackish water and sea water.

Titanium Ribbon is also a rolled titanium product. Strips in the field of cathodic protection have some regular sizes as shown in the table below. We can also provide strips with customized thickness and width.

Titanium Conductor Bar

The titanium conductor bar is considered an ideal auxiliary anode material and is a busbar connecting the anode elements. It is designed to evenly distribute the current to the MMO titanium-based anodes for many cathodic protection (CP) and electro-osmotic pulse (EOP) applications.

Given the attenuation of all linear anodes, it is sometimes necessary to enhance the auxiliary conductor. Titanium conductor rod is particularly useful for controlling attenuation over long spans. It is often used with MMO tape anodes or MMO mesh anodes for impressed current cathodic protection of above-ground tank bottoms and reinforced concrete structures.

Titanium conductor bars and MMO tape/mesh anodes are laid vertically to form a lattice grid pattern, and the intersections are connected by spot welding. Connection to the power supply is achieved through special anode joints.
